What is one reason why areas that are just beginning to industrialize typically have a higher rate of population growth than countries that are already industrialized? Most industrialized countries have laws regulating how many children women can have. The average lifespan in developing countries is much higher than in industrialized countries. Developing countries need labor to fill their rapidly expanding industries. Developing countries are just beginning to experience improved food production and health services.

Not a single one of these answers is totally correct, the most likely ones are b and d. Preindustrial countries have higher birth rate but also higher infant mortality, both of which are lowered by improved health services. Industrial and especially postindustrial countries usually have significantly lower birth rate because of birth control and different lifestyle, which gives priority to work, instead to the children (in preindustrial countries lots of children mean retirements security).
