can you draw out the problem?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
for the first one i got zero
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
I'm not sure I fully understand the problem. Is this a matrix?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
can you draw out the matrix? I'm not seeing how it's supposed to be written

Pretty sure I'm right but I dunno coz I'm never right haha
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
ok thanks, that clears things up a lot
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
notice how 2x = 0, so that makes x = 0.
if 6y = 10, then y = ???

5/3?

@jim_thompson5910
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
good
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
@SammiJS you have the right approximation for y. It's better to use a fraction because it's more exact
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay so the answer is 0,5/3?

I'd use parenthesis to indicate an ordered pair
but I guess you can simply list the values in a comma separated list
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
but yeah x = 0 and y = 5/3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
thank you
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
no problem
