The velocity v(t) of a particle as a function of time is given by v(t) = (2.3 m/s) + (4.1 m/s2)t - (6.2 m/s3)t2. What is the average acceleration of the particle between t = 1.0 s and t = 2.0 s (up to two significant figures) ?

differentiate w.r.t. t, and you get acceleration function
I'm not sure what you're telling me to do
or without calc you can calculate the slope of a line connecting the endpoints on that v(t) graph over tha interval
The average accel is the average rate of change of velocity from t = 1 to t=2, which is just a slope of a line through those two points on v(t)
\[\frac{ v(2) - v(1) }{ 2-1 } ~~[m/s^2]\]

ohhh okay I got using what you said about differentiating, the answer would be -14 m/s^2
