I'm finishing homework and I'm caught up on one question. can anyone please help me?! which set of ordered pairs in the form of (x,y) does not represent a function of x? a:{(0,2),(1,-1),(2,3),(3,-2)} b:{(0,-2),(1,1),(2,3),(3,-2)} c:{(0,2),(-1,-1),(2,-3),(3,2)} d:{(0,2),(1,2),(1,-2),(3,2)}

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

last one is not a function because it has 2 x terms that are the same. A function will not have any repeating x terms....they can have repeating y terms, just not the x ones

oh that makes total sense(x so d is my answer? and thank you so much
