"-ing" endings in English forms gerunds. This is an impersonal verb form. That exists in Spanish too: gerundios. In this language, gerunds are formed by: -ando, -iendo. It depends on the infinitive ending: -ar, -er, -ir. Gerunds can be verbs and adverbs, and some times you can see them as adjectives, but this is a gramatically incorrect use.
