Do you know how to solve for y? or should I explain it?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Wouldn't I just have to get y on its own side? @ckallerid
OpenStudy (ckallerid):
yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So I got it to -11y=5+2x by adding 2x to each side @ckallerid
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Now divide each side by -11?

yes! it may seem weird but it should be like that.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so... y=-.45-.18x
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Here is the attatchment of the problem @ckallerid
OpenStudy (ckallerid):
well it would be in fraction form which is \[y=\frac{ 5 }{ -11 } + \frac{ 2 }{ -11 }x\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I am pretty sure the answer is D, correct?
because slope would be m and the y intercept would be b in y=mx+b

Okay great! Thanks so much! @ckallerid
OpenStudy (ckallerid):
