OpenStudy (owlet):

What is the range of ln(2 +ln x)? is it (-infinity, +infinity)?

OpenStudy (owlet):

@freckles @Loser66

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Yes, that can be true

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

Right!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

when ln(x) approaches -2 ("from the right" - saying that it is some number that is greater that -2, but tends towards -2), THEN, ln(2+lnx) approaches zero and f(x) tends to -∞.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

and obviously, x \(\to\) ∞, y \(\to\) ∞.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

So the range is: *(-∞,+∞)* And the domain, as I showed is: *(-2,+∞)*
