not its B

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

not quite... how many times does 12 go into 256 without going over ? It goes in there 21 times.....that is your whole number. 12 x 21 = 252....so there is a remainder of 4....that is your numerator....and the denominator stays the same....so we have : 21 4/12 which reduces to : 21 1/3 (thats 21 and 1/3) Understand ?

oh ok! thnx!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

sure thing :)
