OpenStudy (freckles):
You could find f'(x).
Then find where f'>0 (this is where f is increasing)
Then find where f'<0 (this is where f is decreasing)

OpenStudy (koikkara):
@haleyelizabeth2017 Which means it's increasing...lol
OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

No, still working on it.
OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):
Do I set f(x) to 0 and solve for x?
OpenStudy (freckles):
To find critical numbers you solve f'(x)=0 for x.
OpenStudy (freckles):
not f(x)=0
OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):

do you know any calculus?
OpenStudy (freckles):
or you suppose to graph it in your calculator and say where the function is increasing or decreasing?
OpenStudy (haleyelizabeth2017):
I do not know any calculus lol...
