How would I find the slope of this line y=-5/2x -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This line is in one of the standard forms \[y=m*x +c\] where m is the slope of the line and c is the intercept length that the line makes with the Y-axis. Basically compare it with this form so you get m=-5/2. The slope is therefore -5/2
