Geometry Help!!

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

@johnweldon1993

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i suck a geometry, but google almost always works

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think thats equilateral

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

@misty1212

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All of the sides are congruent, and it shows the slash marks to prove so,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually, wait... I'm cracking open the geometry book lol.

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

more 10 yo math problems i see!

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Yep, I have a lot of questions that i need help too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm pretty certain the first one is an equilateral quadrilateral. For the second one, the degree it shows us is more than 90 degrees, so that must be an obtuse. Now you just need to figure out which one >:D

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

@misty1212

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

@misty1212

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

@misty1212

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i gave the misty girl a medal for you

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya did you get the message i just sent you

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

No, sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol hmm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"I am sorry i could not help more..feel free to giv ethe madal to someone else.. i dont really need it..i really do think its (B) BTW :) i hope you have a nice evening " thats what it said

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh and im not good with hexagons...to many sides..i can look it up for you and try..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you want

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

@misty1212

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Y is the line right?

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

no idea.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

lol

OpenStudy (misty1212):

interior angles add up to 720 so this is going to take two steps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i think i rember this!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

subtract all those numbers from \(720\) then subtract the result from \(180\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm, she said it lol

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

i got -50..

OpenStudy (misty1212):

hmm i get this as a first step 720-130-75-145-115-125=130

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-130 then what

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

i got 130 then you said subtract 180 so i got -50

OpenStudy (misty1212):

then \(180-130=50\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh positive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well we were close

OpenStudy (misty1212):

oh no dear, subtract the result \(150\) FROM \(180\)

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Oh oops! Sorry. I put the 130 infront of 180

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

so the answer would be 50?

OpenStudy (misty1212):

lol it would be a miracle if the angle was negative !!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

yup

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol it would?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey um emmy what grade you in?

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ouch

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

I am a senior.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

high school?!?!?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

holy cow ima only in 7th grade

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Yep Math is not my speciality and I am taking two math courses so I get help from here. High school isn't very easy, you'll learn that.

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

Well you are very intelligent for a 7th grader, you should be proud.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

i just googled

OpenStudy (misty1212):

it is the average of the two parallel sides so \[\frac{3+5}{2}=4\]

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

so you divide by 2 and get 4?

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):

OpenStudy (emmynimmy):
