hey cool to see another k12 student i could say x is zero and y is 2 becuase 10 + zero is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what i think could be wrong thought but thats how i would solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then what line is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like line a

OpenStudy (onepieceftw):

Find the y and x intercepts y intercept is y value when x = 0 2(0) + 5y = 10 solve this to get the y intercept the x intercept is the other way around, the x value when y = 0 2x + 5(0) = 10 solve this to get the x intercept these two points will show you what line is represented by the equation Hope this helps! :)

OpenStudy (triciaal):

to graph a line you need at least 2 points. the easiest to use are the intercepts. when x = 0 what is y? point (0,y) when y = 0 what is x? point (x, 0) join the points what line matches your line?
