@geny55 when you ask questions, most of them feel like short answer questions your teacher assigned to you that you're supposed to be able to answer yourself, but instead of answering them, you post them here and disguise them as your own personal questions.

referring to the diagram above, if we have a coin the possible outcomes, at the first toss, are:
$tail$ or $head$, each outcome with 0.5 of probability
at the second toss, we get two outcomes for each of preceding outcomes, so we get four outcomes in total
