I WILL MEDAL AND FAN What is the solution for the following system? 3x+3y=10 -9x-9y=-30
hi
I have Nooo idea how to answer that question
me ehthier
either
Hmmm... normally I would suggest using the elimination method to solve it... but that doesn't come out to anything.
yeah its not even a multiple choice i have to do steps for it but its super confusing to me.
The only thing I can think of out of the box is that x and y equal 1.67(1 2/3) which gives you half of the sum amount, other than that there is nothing specific to work with since you know neither x or y... what a confusing question... I hope that helps in someway and perhaps is the answer. Have a great day! {---Ghostgate---}
if you multiply the first equation by -3 you will see that it comes out as exactly the same equation as the second. Therefore these are not 2 independent equations and do not have a unique solution
|dw:1444425474358:dw| Normally if you graph the 2 equations there will be one point of intersection BUT in this case the 2 lines co-incide at all points - so there is no unique solution
I already got it but thank you.
and what did oyu 'get'?
