please help! i will give medal!
Solve for B. R = x(A + B) a. B = (R - A)/x b. B = (A - Rx)/x c. B = (R - Ax)/x
C
are u sure?
Would you like me to explain how I did it?
yes please.
For these algebra equations, I like to substitute the letters for simple numbers. For example, for this equation R = x(A + B), I have made: X = 2 A = 3 B = 4 So firstly, I worked out what R would be if I did that equation. R = 2(3+4) This equals to 14. This means R = 14 Then all I did is use each possible equation but substituted numbers into them until the answer I got was 4 (which is what I said B was) For example: a. B = (R - A)/x Substituting numbers in, the equation would be: B = (14 - 3)/2 This equals 5.5, so this isn't the right equation. b. B = (A - Rx)/x Substituting numbers in, the equation would be B = (3 - (14 x 2)) / 2 This equals -12.5, so this isn't the right equation. c. B = (R - Ax)/x Substituting numbers in, the equation would be B = (14 - (3 x 2) / 2 This equals 4, so this is the right equation, as I said in the beginning B = 4 Does that make sense?
(14 - 3x2)) / 2 Sorry typo! Forgot the extra bracket
yes. it makes alot of sense thank u so much. : )
That's fine, I'm happy I could help :)
well if u ever need me give me a holler. i own u big time, i didnt even know how to do this.
Haha will do! Thank you :3
have a nice day
You too :)
