My prediction is that with reinforcement occurring, you'll eventually end up with no hybrids, and thus no hybrid zone. Species A and B might both move into what was formerly the hybrid zone. Or one or the other might. Or the former hybrid zone might end up devoid of squirrels.

The easiest way to think of this is to picture a vertical line on a graph. The x-value will always stay the same, and the y-value could be anything, assuming the line goes on forever. [ Therefore, the only thing you really need to know is what the x-value is. Since the line is vertical, the x-value will be the same at each and every point on the line, including the one given. Therefore, the equation of the line would be x=3. (Since that is the x-coordinate of that point) let the slope of line be x and coordinates of another point on it be x-5,y-5 and the given point be x,y y-5-y=m (x-5-x) y-5-1=m (x-5-3) ]
