@Vocaloid

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

think its D

OpenStudy (theedwardsfamily):

I have no idea...

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

show me how you got D as your answer

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

still there?

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

oh sorry that was 4 another question

OpenStudy (radar):

You could use the fact that the sum of the angles of a triangle equals 180 degrees. Angle B is quite easy to solve, in fact I thank you already know what angle B is.......

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

So c?

OpenStudy (radar):

Note that angles B and C for a straight line and you have been given the value of angle C

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@radar thanks i see it now ^_^ can you just give me steps to find the measure of angle 5 in this picture if 3 = 102

OpenStudy (radar):

where is "this picture" ??

OpenStudy (radar):

For the first problem that you have posted: \[x ^{2}+70+17x=180\]\[x ^{2}+17x-110=0\]Now solve for x (I would use the factor method) Then square x and you have your answer.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Radar for the second one can you verify I think the measurement is 78

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Since angle 3 is 102 so I subtracted 180 - 102 = 78

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

I agree 78

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

angle <6 = angle <3 <6 + <5 = 180 <5 = 180 - 102 = 78

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

or draw a parallelogram

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

or <5 = < 1 and <1 = 180 - <3

OpenStudy (radar):

Yes, they are not drawn to scale. Good luck with your studies Further verification has been provided by TrojanPoem.

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Thank you ^_^

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

Radar can you give Trojan a medal

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

It doesn't matter :)

OpenStudy (radar):

Done
