Based on the diagram, are the following traingles similar? Select one: a. Yes b. No c. Maybe d. Not enough information given

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in the original triangle, if angle 1 measures 45 degrees and angle 2 measures 56 degrees, what is the measurement of angle 3 on the second triangle? Select one: a. 45 b. 56 c. 79 d. 180

Directrix (directrix):

>>Based on the diagram, are the following traingles similar? The AA Similarity Postulate gives the answer to be ? Read the attachment and tell me what you think, okay? Then, we will go to your second question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think there similar

Directrix (directrix):

On the second diagram, I cannot see where <1 and <2 and <3 are located. >i think there similar I AGREE.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what happens next

Directrix (directrix):

Nothing until you post where the angles are. The diagram does not show where the angles are located.

Directrix (directrix):

>>On the second diagram, I cannot see where <1 and <2 and <3 are located.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay hold on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that help? its the one other diagram

Directrix (directrix):

Let me look. Just a sec.

Directrix (directrix):

I think you may have posted the wrong diagram. That is because no angle measure are shown. Those are side lengths that are shown.

Directrix (directrix):

>>in the original triangle, The first set of triangles you posted did not have angle numbers on them. That is what is holding us up on solving this problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

those are the only diagrams!

Directrix (directrix):

I am taking a shot in the dark and assuming that angles 1 and 2 are in the first triangle and angle 3 is in the second. If two angles of one triangle are congruent to two angles of another triangle, then the third angles are also congruent.

Directrix (directrix):

m<3 = 180 - 45 - 56 = ? I got the answer as one of the options. What did you get for the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont have an answer

Directrix (directrix):

Copy and paste this into the Google search box: 180 - 45 - 56 = The Google calculator will pop up with the answer. Post what you get, okay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

79

Directrix (directrix):

Correct.
