7.) Reciprocals of fractions just means the the number in the numerator and denominator are flipped. So if you have a fraction less than the value 1 (let's say 1/2), what is the reciprocal of 1/2 and how does that compare to the value 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8.) It's a similar situation but reversed. This time, let's say the fraction is 3/2 (which is greater than the value of 1). If you were to flip the fraction as per definition of reciprocal, what would that fraction be and how would that compare to the value of 1?

9.) Make up any fraction and multiply it by its reciprocal. Let's use 3/2 again. If you were to multiply the reciprocal (again, it's where the numerator and denominator flip) what would that give you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for #9) is 1

Correct, and do you know why it will always be 1?
