Please help me and I'll give you a medal.

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

\[(-28x ^{5}y ^{3}+13x ^{5}y)\div(-4x ^{4}y ^{2})\]

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Combine Like Terms \[-28x ^{5}y ^{3} + 13x^{5}y \div -4x^{4}y^{2}\] Simplify them: \[28xy^{2} - 13x \div 4y\]

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

well 28/4 is 7 but then 13/4 should turn into a fraction and remain that way...? My wrong answer was 7xy+ 13x/4y

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Let me check it again, I believe \[28xy^{2} - 13x \div 4y\] is the simplest it will go. I'll check again

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Yes that is the simplest it will go. :)

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

that's the answer?

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

I just checked now and my electronic workbook said that I had the sign wrong :/ so i guess I was mostly right :)

OpenStudy (ltrout):

So it was able to be simplified even further? O.o

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

yeah but don't worry I'm in intensive math on my senior year so I get your confusion too. :D
