Find d2y/dx2 in terms of x and y. y^3 = x^4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Although the equation is given implicitly, you can get a unique representation of y and avoid the need to do implicit differentiation. \(y^{3} = x^{4} \implies y = x^{4/3}\) From there it's just two applications of the basic power rule for differentiation.
