I'm sure there are many viewpoints on this question but I was curious about your ideas. Does the universe have a zero net energy amount? Or does the universe have a non-zero net amount of energy? And also what are the calculations/facts that support your idea?

Well sure the zero can be relative but for example if you consider the kinetic energy of all the moving particles in the universe... isn't that a net positive amount?
