What is the effect of hearing Grendel's story from his own point of view? How is your reaction to him different from when you read about Grendel in Beowulf? Can a person be objective when telling a story, or does his or her point of view always change the story?

@starpink69 how did you get best response just by typing lol
Sure @MightyBossBoy
When you hear a story you've read before from another POV, you get a whole other side to the story. You gain information you were not aware of, and get to see another person's view. However, you are also biased to how they feel or what they see. Their emotions effect their story. They may be incorrect in their telling of it as well. In this case, you are reading from Grendel's POV, so you are seeing another side to him than just the killing monster he is portrayed as in Beowulf. You may feel bad for him, which you probably didn't in your reading of Beowulf.
Oh, and no, it is very hard for a person to remain objective in their telling of a story. That would require them to keep their feelings and opinions out of it, and only stick with the facts and truth.
Does that help? :)
Yes it does. Thank you @rowbe98
