In a heating curve, when is the temperature constant? during a phase change during a pressure change during a change in kinetic energy during a change in molecular velocity

OpenStudy (photon336):

whenever we have a phase change the temperature remains constant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so a

OpenStudy (photon336):

i'm pretty sure that A would be the best answer based on my explanation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was thanks

OpenStudy (photon336):

phase change could be understood also as an equilibrium process @ataraiders

OpenStudy (photon336):

because say you have something where the phase changes from a liquid to gas, boiling. you have molecules that escape to the gaseous phase and some that return to the liquid phase and so on.
