@IrishBoy123 @johnweldon1993 The pedals on a bicycle give a mechanical advantage by allowing you to turn the pedals a __________ distance to turn the __________ circumstance of the wheels. A) long, larger B) long, shorter C) short, larger D) short, shorter

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

" circumstance of the wheels."?!?! lol, some kinda typo?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats how it was laid out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you figure it out

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

normally a mechanical advantage means that you use a smaller force to move larger force, eg a lever. |dw:1446166518898:dw| you do this by moving your smaller force a greater distance than the larger force. just like a lever. bikes do this through the pedals, the axle and the wheel radius. but the question, to my eyes at least, is just gibberish. if this matters, i would wait for john to swing by and have a look. if you are desparate, go B but only because it kinda pattern matches with the idea of mechanical advantage....

thanks

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

don't thank me please, it is a guess " circumstance of the wheels" means nothing to me, i'm afraid...
