Are u sure???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pretty Sure But i Would Adivise You Ask Someone Else

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can u explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Donoven

OpenStudy (swolesammy):

It's 0, any of the other numbers would prove the inequality false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can u guys help with another question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BY putting the 1,2,3 your right side would be bigger than your left side. If you put the zero in for z than 0 *10 is zero and 0-0 is zero. That leaves your left side bigger than your right side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Notice the right side of the inequality. It is z(10 - z) Since one factor is simply z, when you replace z with 0, no matter what 10 - z turns out to be, when it is multiplied by 0, the product is 0. Since 6 is greater than 0, the answer is 0, choice A.

Thx @mathstudent55

Can u help with the second question

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Second problem: What are the "natural numbers"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is c isnt it

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The natural numbers are the counting numbers. N = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ...} The natural numbers are all the whole numbers starting at 1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Another question?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The natural numbers is a set that contains an infinite number of elements. This problem is asking for natural numbers that are factors of 16. What does it mean for a number to be a factor of 16?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

We're still working on the second problem. The answer is not C.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:O o okay

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Ok, what are factors of 16?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2,4,8

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Those are factors of 16, but they are not all the factors of 16. The factors of 16 are all the numbers that 16 is divisible by. Is 16 divisible by 1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no?
