D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK CAN YOU PLZ EXPLAIN?:)

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Yes!

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

It first off goes through points (0,0) Thats easy to see.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Then point (-1,1) Go over left 1 on the x-axis, and then up 1 in the direction of the y-axis, this falls onto your line.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

Now your line has a negative slope, so the third point couldn't be (x,y), rather than (x,-y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHHH OK THATS EXACTLY THE WAY MY TEACHER TAUGHT ME THX!

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

(1,-1) satisfies this.

OpenStudy (maddy1251):

You're very welcome. :-)
