Help me solve this ASAP

OpenStudy (shaniehh):

OpenStudy (gabebae):

Do you know how to use h(t)=-16t2+vt+h?

OpenStudy (shaniehh):

not really

OpenStudy (gabebae):

h(t)=-16t2+vt+h is the vertical motion formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

−7(.8²)+11(.8)+4 = 8.32 −7(.7²)+11(.7)+4 = 8.27, seems less accurate. I'd go with the third option

OpenStudy (gabebae):

He needs to understand how to use it.. :/ I hate how I get warning for giving out answers while others don't

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, sorry, didn't know you're not just supposed to answer.

OpenStudy (gabebae):

That's fine...

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Why do you tink you know whether or not someone else receives a warning? It's not public knowledge.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You should use the formulation provided by Gabe, but you should first notice that the problem is in meters. Thus, the formula provided by Gabe will not quite be suitable. Change that leading coefficient. This error can be quite expensive: http://articles.latimes.com/1999/oct/01/news/mn-17288
