I honestly think its A. because the footnotes would help the reader understand, but it wouldn't necessarily make the reader feel as if they were part of the story. I'd personally go with A.

I wouldn't consider A because even if you have a name, you need to understand the story more. You can't really have a picture of whats going on, if you have a Suntrust building and say, Alex, you invision a boy named alex standing infront of the building, but without notes here and there explaining, you never know. Alex could be standing there eating a sandwhich and tieing his shoes, but without notes, you wouldn't know that. Also, it gives the reader an invision of "Oh theres alex, im there watching him eat a sandwhich while tieing his shoes"
