sorry new to this

On the first problem it says " Line m is perpendicular to line n." and in the instructions it says Often when you take notes, it helps to illustrate concepts with simple drawings. For example, if you write that line XY is parallel to line ST, make a quick sketch of two parallel lines with those labels Look at the website below and look for the perpendicular symbol. https://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/symbols.html You can either do that symbol to show that Line m is perpendicular to line n or draw a sketch of a line (m) being perpendicular to line (n)

Parallel lines are across from each other meaning they do not cross. An example of parallel lines would be this: |dw:1446490825164:dw|

However in this problem we are talking about perpendicular instead which they do intersect so an example of line m being perpendicular to line n would be this: |dw:1446490890822:dw| then you would name one m and the other one n

oh ok I think i get it now thankyou
