Do you mean 11 divided by 20 OR
1 plus 1/20?
OpenStudy (90890908967777878888):
the fraction is 1 1/20 it's a fraction
OpenStudy (calculusxy):
\[\large 1 \frac{ 1 }{ 20 }\]
Our whole number is already 1 so now we need to put the fraction to a decimal by dividing the numerator by the denominator: \(\large \rm 1 \div 20\).
\(\large \rm 1 \div 20 = 0.05\)
Now you just have to add in that quotient with 1:
\[\large \rm 1 + 0.05 = 1.05\]

how
