How would you prove that angle 2 is congruent to angle 4?

OpenStudy (trantom):

oohh geometry my old pal :) geometry was much more fun than algebra for me xD ok so its exterior angles and the parallel lines therom I think I don't remember all the little theroms

OpenStudy (trantom):

sorry the converse of the parallel lines therom and the converse of the exterior angles therom

OpenStudy (trantom):

\[converse\]

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well angle 1 = angle 4.... as they are vertically opposite angles then angle 4 = angle 2 corresponding angles in parallel lines which is a proof for parallel lines..
