Juan did a survey in four butterfly parks and wrote the following observations: Butterfly Park Survey Park Number of Pink Butterflies Total Number of Butterflies P 25 53 Q 35 64 R 37 75 S 23 55 Based on the survey, which park had the greatest percentage of pink butterflies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I divided and also * 100 too all

OpenStudy (breyliance):

so divide 53 by 25 and 64 by 35 and so on then divide those by 100 to get your precent and tell me what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 53/25 is 9.8529 and 64/35 is 0.01828571

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh and also divided 100 to each @breyliance

OpenStudy (breyliance):

ok that is your precent when you divide it by 100 so see whats the biggest percent when you do that to all of the numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 53/25 park p is the one that has the biggest percentage

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25 53 which is park p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@breyliance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats right do u know what to next

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im Lost again :( @June-27-2001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay lets start from the beginning because this is all confusing okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay @June-27-2001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so at fiest they were right so divide 53/25

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you get nd i meant first not fiest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[53\div25=2.12\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@June-27-2001

OpenStudy (breyliance):

do that for all of the parks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (breyliance):

divide the number of pink butterflies

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay now do that for all the parks and

OpenStudy (breyliance):

to the total number of butterflies per park

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you i appreciate that breyliance

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[64\div35=1.82857143\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[75\div37=2.02702703\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[55\div23=2.39130435\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i finished dividing :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so now which park has the greater number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well its park p and s?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@June-27-2001

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
