Which of the following is a type of modern telescope that uses mirrors to 'capture' visible light? A. Infrared telescope B. radio telescope C. x-ray telescope D. reflective telescope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jigglypuff314 Can you help me? Or do I need owlbucks for that? XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only one of those telescopes does NOT have a word in its title that is specifically a kind of light that is not visible. I'd suggest you figure out which one that is! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^What? I don't know. I am terrible at Science. A maybe?

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

I like how @jtstrumpf said it :) for example, you can't see "radio" waves you don't have "x-ray" vision like superman etc ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! It is actually D. Infrared light, radio waves, and x-rays are all light waves, but we just cannot see them. The telescope that would capture visible light is the one using mirrors!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think what do teloscopes do (reflect

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That actually made sense XD
