How would I solve this? 5 < 4 * n = 2 > 3 * n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are the stars powers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so your solving for n?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Move all terms not containing n from the center section of the interval inequality. There is no solution for n.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So we move everything except the n away?

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

Sort of. You're going to have to divide both sides of each equation by whatever is with "n", but you leave "n" there because that's what you're solving for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, but there is no solution for n.

OpenStudy (xmissalycatx):

That's not true, it could be a fraction.
