I WILL GIVE A REVIEW, MEDAL AND FAN! the part of the microscope that adjusts the amount of light passing through is the A ocular lens B objective lens C stage D diaphragm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the ocular lens is 10X magnification and the objective lens is 40X magnification, then the total magnification of the object is A 10X magnification B 40X magnification C 100X magnification D 400X magnification

OpenStudy (anonymous):

will you help with 4 more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a 5 question test...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@BeautifulBrutality

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one moment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol im not very good at math, sadly science needs that sometimes. BUT this can help you with figuring out how magnified it is :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@paki

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it D. ? Or you dont know/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do not know my dear, i am very sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would go with D and see what happens, im sorry D;

To carry a microscope, you should place one hand under the base and one hand on the arm. A. True B. False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about this one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Grasp the arm with one hand and place the other hand under the base for support. so true i believe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Electron microscopes are much more powerful than compound microscopes. A. True B. False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one sec.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

honestly i do not know. Electron has a lot that the light microscopes do not, but they have a lot of disadvantages

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You must always use the fine adjustment when focusing the highest power objective lens. A. True B. False last one ^ ok thanks anyway

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i guess it really depends on what you are using it for lol..... and When focusing on a slide, ALWAYS start with either the 4X or 10X objective. Once you have the object in focus, then switch to the next higher power objective. Re-focus on the image and then switch to the next highest power. Etc. NEVER advance more than one objective before focusing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so false? you never start off with the HIGHEST power, you go from low, to high if needed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

was i right or no lol?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got the first one and the last one wrong :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats okay ^-^ try , try again, i dis this stuff years ago so im a bit fuzzy lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. diaphragm 2.400X magnification 3. true 4. true 5. true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much though!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha no problem! back to my test
