I've got an Algebra 2 test tomorrow, just asking if someone would review a few things with me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure! What is your question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will try to help as best as I can.

See, here's the first thing I've been a little stuck on: (x/4)-3. I'm usually good with exponent properties, but this practice problem on a previous homework assignment gave me trouble.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I mean (x/4)^-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would you apply the negative exponent to both of the terms first? Like this?: x^-3/4^-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And if so, wouldn't that simplify to 64/x^3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And then, wouldn't THAT simplify to 4/x?
