Using Elimination, the question is in the comments. What are the steps to use to solve this problem? Thanks all! :)

OpenStudy (baru):

multiply the first equation by 3 multiply second equation by 5 then add the two equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh really? ahh that makes more sense ! i knew i supposed to multiply but i wasn't sure by how much since usually its just by 2 or something thanks ! :)

OpenStudy (baru):

suppose you had 8x in first eq 3x in second eq just multiply the first equation with '3' and the second with '8' so that they become (8*3)x (3*8)x which is 24x 24x

OpenStudy (baru):

then you can subtract the two equations and eliminate x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aweomse thanks man!! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey @baru do you think you could look over my answer?
