OpenStudy (nedra_645):

3. Which part of the atom is found in the center of the atom and has no electric charge?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The nucleus. I was trying to explain it in a way to help you but my best advice is study and try to memorize the different parts of the atom. It'll help you with later questions like this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not quite - the nucleus is composed of BOTH neutrons and protons. - Protons have a positive (+) charge - Neutrons have a neutral charge (n) So the nucleus as a whole has a positive charge from the protons (+) + (n) = (+)! The atom as a whole is neutral due to the electrons outside of the nucleus which counteract the charge of the nucleus' protons. I think the answer that @Nedra_645 was looking for is the neutrons.
