OpenStudy (britchgo):

y=-4 is the given line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks I have 3 more... wanna help?

OpenStudy (britchgo):

Sure i can try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks :D

OpenStudy (britchgo):

Almost positive the answer is D, If you look at the where the points are on the y and x axis you can easily find the slope-intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks. I'm am the worst and I mean worst at math Which equations in point-slope form are equations of the line that pass through the points (4, 5) and (−3, −1)? Choose exactly two answers that are correct. A y-3=7/6 (x-1) B y-5= 6/7 (x-4) c y+1= 6/7 (x+3) D y-4 = 7/6 (x-5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@britchgo lol where did ya go?

pooja195 (pooja195):

First find the slope Using: \[\LARGE \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}=slope\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

More detail..?

OpenStudy (britchgo):

Im back...hold on let me look at the question lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hahaha :) take as long as you need.

OpenStudy (britchgo):

OK to begin you first need to find the slope by using the slope formula: Slope (m)=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) (4,5) x1=4 and y1=5 (-3,-1) x2=-3 and y2=-1 now subtract slope(m) = (-1,-50/(-3,-4) slope(m) = -6/-7 slope(m) = 6/7 now use point-slope formula y-y1=m(x-x1) slope(m) = 6/7 use either of your points (4,5) x1=4 and y1=5 now subtract y-5+6/7 (x-4) or slope(m) = 6/7 (-3,-1) x1=-3 and y1=-1 so pretty much the answer is y+1=6/7(x=3) soooo C lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so so so so so so much! But... is says Two heh

OpenStudy (britchgo):

Your welcome, but what? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There should be two answers

OpenStudy (britchgo):

Flip the equation backwards and what do you get?

OpenStudy (britchgo):

Look at A and C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah! Ok! :D one more question and I will stop buggin you https://static.k12.com/calms_media/media/1511000_1511500/1511274/1/7fe8f24783527bc74e0dc3165760f3c25f30bc0e/MS_IMC-140805-180401.jpg Which equations represent the line shown in the graph? Choose all answers that are correct. A y-1 = -4/3(x+1) B 4x+3y=-1 C 3x-4y =1 D= - 4/3x -1/3

OpenStudy (britchgo):

B and D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I made a 40%

OpenStudy (britchgo):

which ones were wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 4 and 5

OpenStudy (britchgo):

I see well im sorry as you can see im not a reliable source
