Good morning! Question posted below. Thank you! :)

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

use the formula of slope: \[\frac{ y_{2} - y_{1} }{ x_{2} - x_{1} }\] To apply the formula , you need two points on the line, choose easy ones: (4,0) , (0,1)

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

You can count from the graph or take any two points and use the slope formula \[m = \frac{ y_2-y_1 }{ x_2-x_1 }\]

OpenStudy (trojanpoem):

I mean (-4,0)

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

Note rise/ run so you can easily count so how many spaces up or down is it moving (y) and how many left or right (x)

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

From the y - intercept (where the line crosses the y - axis)

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

\[\frac{ 1 }{ 4 }\]

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

\[\huge \checkmark\]

OpenStudy (i_love_my_nieces):

That you!!

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

It is me
