Bio is dead again.. :/ What is the correct order of levels of organization in an organism, from the least complex to the most complex? A. organ→ system → tissue→ cell B. tissue → organ → cell → system C. system → tissue → organ → cell D. cell → tissue → organ → system Me thinks it's D.. ♥

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, a tissue is formed by cells. Two or more kinds of tissues make up an organ. Specialized organs working together make up an organ system. So, based on that logic, D is the correct answer. You were right, readergirl12! :D You can use this site to understand the process better. It contains a pictured of how the process works. http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/building-the-body-from-atoms-to-organs.html

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Skin keeps what should be inside the organism inside and what should be outside the organism outside. Therefore, the answer is C. :D

Which statement best describes how muscles help the body move? A. The tendon of a muscle pulls on a bone. B. The ligament pulls on the muscle attached to the bone. C. The muscle pushes against a joint. D. One muscle pulls on another muscle. Is it B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was unsure on this one and actually had to do some research to make sure. Certainly, it is between A and B. My research led me to believe that A is the answer. However, I can't be completely sure. I hope this helps anyway! :D
