OpenStudy (gabebae):

@PokemonGirlNerd11 You just count the small boxes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to calculate the area of a square or a rectangle ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I counted all the boxes of each shape, and the only one that had 6 boxes was B. So, Is it be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure but that's not the sole reason it is so. Each box is a square with the side of 1ft. The area of a box is 1ft^2 because the area of a square is length * length. That's why it's B - because B is the only shape which has 6 boxes of 1ft^2 area each.
