algebra question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi everyone. So I started off by rewriting the problem as \[(x-0)^2+(y+2)^2\le3^2\] and I got the boundary is (0,-2) and the radius as 3. I then shaded the inside of the circle. Where did I go wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look up the question to your problem on yahoo answers, or google and see who has the same question that has been answered! :)

I wasn't able to find anything @IvyCH

Did you bump your question yet? Have you put it in another Math one?

Directrix (directrix):

The boundary is the ring of points which make up the circle. The boundary is the circle.

Directrix (directrix):

>>nd I got the boundary is (0,-2) No. That is the center of the circle.

Directrix (directrix):

The graph looks correct. You wrote the boundary incorrectly. The boundary is a circle with equation x^2 + (y + 2)^2 = 3^2. @rawrolivia
