If I wanted to change the y-intercept of the graph from (0,2) to (0,5), what form would you use and what would you do to make the change? The form options are standard form, vertex form, and factored form.
I asked this question before but it got closed some how.
I was helping you with this question before. Do you want to continue where we left off? We got to the 3 different forms, and I said my reasoning for why I think standard form (y = ax2 + bx + c makes sense, as the first two terms cancel out when x= 0, so y = c, so the y-intercept would be (0,c) for standard form. With this info, can you tell what you would do to change the intercept from (0,2) to (0,5)?
Sorry my computer spazes out and likes to click on things I didn't touch. Thank you for helping!
No problem. I hope you understand this now!
