-5y > 10 + x in slope intercept form?

pooja195 (pooja195):

So basically you need to make it look like y>mx+b

pooja195 (pooja195):

to do that all you need to do is divide everything by-5

OpenStudy (misty1212):

lol this is an inequality, not a line it does not have a slope

pooja195 (pooja195):

lol there is an x value there is a slope.

pooja195 (pooja195):

like lol.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

really?

OpenStudy (misty1212):

there is an x value in \(x^2+x\) does that have a slope?

pooja195 (pooja195):

I dunno they want it in slope intercept form I assume 1x would be the slope

OpenStudy (misty1212):

you can solve the inequality for \(y\) maybe that is what it means

pooja195 (pooja195):

And thats what I was doing :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My assignment says I have to graph it but I thought it has to be in slope intercept form in order to do so

OpenStudy (misty1212):

ok good still doesn't have a slope only a line has a slope

pooja195 (pooja195):

I recommend just solving for y \[\huge~\rm~-5y/-5 > 10/-5 + x/-5\]
