OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

Why is it impossible for a triangle to have more than one obtuse angle.

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Do you have any ideas?

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

obtuse angle is 90+ the sum of all angles in a tri is 180

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

triangle have 3 angles

OpenStudy (alexandervonhumboldt2):

if there are 2 obtuse angles, the sum is >180

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

If two of them are 90+, that would make the sum of just two angles 180+, which can't happen in a triangle

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

The sum of all three angles have to equal 180 degrees

OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

yeah man, or else it wont even be a traingle.

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

Exactly!

OpenStudy (sneakysquash):

kool then, ill just role with that and what you dudes said.

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

KK

OpenStudy (lovelovelovehelp):

basically because the sum of all the angle has to be 180 and if you have 2 obtuse angles that or over 90 its impossible and it wont be a triangle otherwise

OpenStudy (jackofalltradez):

@lovelovelovehelp So, basically what I said, right?

OpenStudy (lovelovelovehelp):

yeah..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

need help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it cant because if they were all obtuse you would not be able to call it a "triangle"
