Which sentence has a correctly placed participial phrase? A. My friend and I studied books borrowed from the library on the corner. B. My friend and I studied books on the corner borrowed from the library. C. Borrowed from the library, my friend and I studied books on the corner. D. My friend and I, borrowed from the library, studied books on the corner.
I already worked out this question, but I was confused about "On the corner" part.
I know D. And C. are obviously out.
But I'm not sure if it's A. or B.
I'm thinking it's A. but I'm not sure.
I agree with a I think
what makes you think it is a though?
Because B. doesn't sound right.
And it says "My friend and I studied books on the corner borrowed from the library"
Which I think the problem is that "on the corner" is borrowed, while the books are supposed to be borrowed.
I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure its A. :P
I just keep reading about participle phrases
They are a bit confusing but I think a would make the most sense here as well
I apologize if that is wrong, but I know no more about this than you probably
