OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hello.

imqwerty (imqwerty):

hey lenny :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that you aren't supposed to give me a direct answer, so please, lay on the "explain"?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

ok we gotta solve this-\[3\frac{ 6 }{ 7 }-3\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }\] if u have something like this- \(\cal\huge\color{violet}{a \frac{ b }{ c }}\) then u can simplify it like this-\(\cal\huge\color{green}{\frac{ c \times a +b }{ c }}\) now simplifying our expression-\[\cal\large3\frac{ 6 }{ 7 }-3\frac{ 1 }{ 3 }\] \[\large\frac{ 7 \times 3 +6 }{ 7 }-\frac{ 3 \times 3 +1 }{ 7 }\] \[\large\frac{ 27 }{ 7 }-\frac{ 10 }{ 3}\] can u do it from here :) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We need to find a common denominator, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

27 * 3 = 81, 7 * 3 = 21 81/21 - _____ 10 * 7 = 70, 3 * 7 = 21 81/21 - 70/21?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it is 11/21?

imqwerty (imqwerty):

\[\cal\Huge\color{Gold}{Yes~~Correct!!!}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Latex?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you.

imqwerty (imqwerty):

yeah :)
