Improper fractions are as follow: 5/2 22/7
OpenStudy (nkhanfar):
First, find the numbers mixed, so improper fraction, then flip the second number and multiply.
OpenStudy (texaschic101):
turn to improper fractions
(5/2) / (22/7)
when dividing fractions, flip what you are dividing by, then multiply
5/2 * 7/22 =
35/44
** make sure you flip what you are dividing by, and not the other number
OpenStudy (nkhanfar):
so 5/2*7/22
